We get down to LA from the Bay Area once or twice a year to visit family. We'd planned to go on a tour when we were down a couple of months ago but my husband's Grandma was having problems, so instead we went to help out and see how she was doing. We'll get a tour in on one of our upcoming trips though.

Grandma Lucy is doing much better and has more help and support now as well.

I'll get to L.A but it's gonna be a while.
Oh you went there, didn't you.?!

Unfortunatly, All the rooms onboard are booked up already so I have to find something close to the ship. I heard that ship is haunted as hell. I tattooed there last year and I didnt feel any bad vibes but I was to busy to notice anyting.

That must be fun though to go to all those conventions. All the guys that work at the tattoo parlor where I get my tats go every year to LA and some used to work there too. Sounds like a fun time.

You are lucky. But then, it takes a certain kind of talent. Not everyone can do what you do.

I'll have to make do with people's experiences, as alas I don't think I'll be going to L.A. in the near future.
    But if I ever do....

    My trip to LA 1

This last summer I went to LA. I went with 4 other friends. The four of are all Marilyn Monroe fans. We spent 5 days in LA. On June 1st, marilyn's birthday we went to her crypt. It was my first time there. It was an amzing experience, and probably the best vaction I took in my life. I hoping to go again in 2008. Here are most of the pictures.

And last but not least Marilyn Monroe. RIP Marilyn:

Thank you PvN for the advice.

Hi MrsJamesDean. I am from Colorado. Out of the 4 of us, I was the only one from out of state. At the time I was living in New Mexico. We went to the Roosevelt. I mean the looks of it does seem haunted. Like I mentioned in the picture of the mirror she owned, notice how the image in the mirror of Marilyn is glowing. Pretty freaky. I heard too the room she lived at is closed up.

Hope you all njoy the pics.

I'm so jealous. I don't know anyone who would take a trip like that with me- not even my husband.
