    Love the stuff but if I eat more that a couple of small chunks it just totally screws up my stomach.

    And a Dr. Pepper.

    That would pretty well put a stop to the indigestion, I suspect.

    Ah, so many things to be proud of as a Tennessean. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

    He had been on death row since 1984.

    I wonder what percentage of death row inmates die of "something else" before they receive "justice."
    Sincerely yours,

    The grapefruit juice would make me throw up.

    Great article, what I could read of it. Ads drive me insane and that site has more than anywhere else.

    This argument is basically saying that society has no requirement to be better than those we convict of bad deeds.

    “does not guarantee a prisoner a painless death—something that, of course, isn’t guaranteed to many people, including most victims of capital crimes.”

    It always kills me that these monsters hurt their victims, but boohoo when their chickens come back to roost.

    That has been all over the place here since I think yesterday. He didn't care about the pain he caused when he murdered those people. He didn't care about the pain he caused when he raped his ex. So no. I don't give two shits about his pain and suffering.

    Done properly, hanging shouldn't hurt at all.
    If you've decided to kill somebody, and now you're getting all worked up over it maybe causing some pain, something just seems a bit off to me.

    Monsters don't believe their victims are real. But, hey, they are, and shouldn't have to suffer.

    He didn't. And we don't care about the pain we inflict. I see one as no better than the other.

    Cause = effect.

    I'm no longer really in favor of that punishment, although I can't say I have any real problem with it.
    I just don't think it's necessary when you have the option of permanently removing someone from society without taking their life.
