Personality disorders aren't necessarily mental illness. I'm reading the Kitty Kelley book now. The way Frank is described, I would guess Narcissistic Personality Disorder. And yes, probably OCD too.

    Thanks, I will!

    100 today.

If there was anything Frank Sinatra enjoyed more than a stiff glass of Jack Daniels, it was blowing out the candles on his birthday cake each and every year.

Passť? Compared to the lyricists of the Great American Songbook, the songwriters of the last 40 years are (with some exceptions) largely illiterate. The old Tin Pan Alley guys had Shakespeare pounded into their heads whether they liked it or not, and we can all be thankful when we hear compositions like this one from Irving Berlin

Behold the way our fine feathered-friend
    His virtue doth parade.
Thou knowest not, my dim-witted friend,
    The picture thou hast made.
Thy vacant brow and thy tousled hair
    Conceal thy good intent.
    Thou noble, upright, truthful, sincere,
    And slightly dopey gent,

    You are:

    (Chorus)

    My funny valentine
    Sweet, comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart.

    Your looks are laughable, unphotographable,
Yet you're my favorite work of art.

Is your figure less than Greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak, are you smart?

Don't change a hair for me,
Not if you care for me,
    Stay, little valentine, stay!

    Each day is Valentine's Day.
