MSNBC - they have good crime stories on Sundays here but will probably flip around.

Here in Toronto it is really grey and gloomy and just starting to rain/freezing rain out.

Yeah, at least you get to wear your nice coats consistently.

I'll walk through a store seeing a cool coat during the winter but it's like 70 deg outside and it could conceivably be warmer the following week so you feel like an idiot buying it, not sure how much you're really gonna wear it. The coat could possibly become a conversation piece.

Well below zero here with the wind chill.

We in the cities dodged a bullet last night with the snow - we only got about an inch while the northern areas saw 8 inches or more.

*sigh* I love MN, but wonder every winter why I live here.

    I'll trade ya!

Dec was a record month for snow here, well over a foot so far in the cities and much, much more in the north.

I love So Ca and have a friend in San Diego, always sunny!

    In the distance, lol.

My friend has moved all over SD, she and I were in the Navy together and met on the east coast, but I ended up stationed in SD for a spell. Miss it. She moved back there after we got out (she was from there). I know exactly where Oceanside is!

I hope you get the rain you want/need. We went a long time this summer without the rain..it was so dry.

Thanks. Yeah, we are so behind on the rain it would take weeks of drenching to even get close to catching up.

The navy ships in SD look very cool and interesting.

With horrible, horrible fog in the morning. I lost controll of my suburban this morning getting on I35. That was the scarest 15 seconds of my life...

Not watching anything yet, as I just turned in to my bedroom for the night with my cats (roommate's dogs are outside for one, and in her bathroom for the puppy...). Will probably watch either one of the following: Get Smart, Burn After Reading, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, or Little Women. YES, Little women...I love that movie. Plus, all four of those are on my bed, so I don't have to de-cover and get another, lol.

It's cold, windy, and probably in the early 50's-high 40's right now. But it's Texas weather, so wait five minutes, and it'll change!
